Inspired by certain special plants part of the Cape Fynbos, which are part of our heritage and our exquisite landscape surrounding the Mother City, a special Gin Tour is born.

   Pickup Details
Pickups at 10am to be at the first Gin Stop at 11am. We pickup from hotels & Air Bnb's in Blouberg/Big Bay & Cape Town City Center. If you stay in other areas please make your way to the Caltex Garage at the V&A Waterfront and we will pick you up there. This is a safe area to wait and have a coffee early in the morning!

Stop 1: Cape Town’s Gin & Spirit Company:

Inspired by the Rooibos plant which is part of Cape Town’s heritage and healthful properties, the Cape Town Gin Company first distilled the Cape Town Gin Rooibos Red in Cape Town in 2015.


Stop 2: The Woodstock Gin Company:

Woodstock’s Grape Distilled Inception Gin which is matured in American Oak barrels makes the second stop lovely and different.


Stop 3: Deep South Distillery:

The newest, most southerly craft distillery on the Cape Peninsula called Kommetjie, specialise in small batch, hand-crafted spirits made with love, care and pride that comes with Unique quirky labelling of their products. After the tasting will drive for 3 minutes (1.9 km) to get to a gorgeous lunch setting with panoramic views where lunch can be ordered to complete the day.

  • Farm – Lunch with a view at Blue Water Café (Imhoff Farm) can be ordered from the menu.

Stop 1:   Signal Gun Wines:

Hooggelegen has been in the family for over five generations and is one of the oldest family owned wine farms in the Durbanville Wine Route area. They produce an amazing Signal Gun wine range and from their Hoogeberg Brewing Co. a really Fantastic Craft Beer Range.

Stop 2: Altydgedacht Estate:

Established in 1698, Altydgedacht Estate is one of the oldest wine farms in South Africa. The farm boasts an unbroken wine making tradition blend with modern methods to create wines of excellent quality and character. With the three hundred year old cellar, the farm has managed to maintain its original charm and character which is visible while doing wine tasting.

Stop 3:  Klein Roosboom Boutique Winery:

Discover Cape Town’s Best Kept Secret within the Durbanville Wine Route. This Wine Culture and Passion is visible when you relax inside in one of their old concrete wine tanks (caves) and enjoy their beautiful wine range while making memories. At this last stop lunch can be ordered to complete the day.

This unique circular hike stretches from the Hout Bay side then goes over the mountain to the Twelve Apostles path, descends Llandudno Ravine to Hout Bay Corner and ends back at the starting point.

  Description - Myburgh’s Waterfall Ravine follows the course of the river all the way up to the top, with some of the route being boulder hopping in the river bed with the most beautiful waterfalls which are amazingly dramatic in its beauty.

  • Overlooking stunning views of the Twelve Apostles, Clifton, Camps Bay, Oudekraal, and Llandudno.

  • In Summer-Time you are almost certain to see plenty of the beautiful and rare Red Disas flowering in the damper areas.

  Terrain - Steep slopes on the ascent/ Boulder hopping/some staples/Fair amount of scramble.

  Time - +/- 5hrs

Tranquility Cracks

The Hike with the most spectacular views over the Atlantic through the most incredible scenic valleys which takes you up the 12 Apostles on the Western slopes of the Table Mountain range.

  Description - Tranquility Cracks is one of Table Mountain’s hidden gems. It is made up of a series of fissures in the rocks which form a labyrinth of corridors and a tranquil home to some indigenous yellow wood trees. Hiking up Corridor Ravine with the most spectacular views over the Atlantic we will get to the Top of the Twelve Apostles mountain range and spend time at the majestic cracks of Tranquility and then Hike down Kasteelpoort as we accent through the Fynbos filled ravine with impressive rock formations and exquisite cliffs looking over Camps Bay and Lions Head.

  Terrain - Steep sections/single rocky track, Jeep track (Pipe Track), stone steps, ladders.

  Time - +/- 4hrs

Hiking both the northern and western slopes show you the best of both worlds and great way to see what Table Mountain is all about.

  Description - India Venster brings a thrill and excitement and is not your average hike, along the route there are scrambles up rock faces either by using the grooves in the rocks or by staples that have been installed to hikers.

  Terrain - Single rocky track, stone steps, steep sections, staples, ledges, scrambling.

  Time - +/- 3hrs

  Pickup Details - Pickups at 6am to be at the Mountain to start Hiking at 7am. We pickup from hotels & Air Bnb's in Blouberg/Big Bay & Cape Town City Center.
